Most tracks have subtle sidechain compression, which I got rid of for the stems. But there are a few spots with real hard compression – I left those in.

amazing job here. really interesting take. up the stems i want a crack at it.

    Throbbing Zion // August 03, 2011

Best Use of Sultry Sax 2011, no doubt. I dialed up the max upload size to fit the many, many stems, too. Fire when ready…!

    slow_thunder // August 03, 2011

    Thanks – get mixin y’all!

    Alex Kotch // August 03, 2011

    Very good! Downloading stems now…

The drums are tangly because it’s REAL. The rest is tangly because it’s ARTIFICE.

    N.b. splits finally uploaded!

    slow_thunder // October 10, 2009

see, I wasn’t working on it b/c there were no splits. that was definitely the reason.

    Nice, and quick turnaround!

    Alex Kotch // February 03, 2010

Well… 5 hours or so ;) Mostly those quick turnarounds end up to be the best… Your mix had given me nice samples!

a dubby mess. parts on request.

Haha dubby is the best kind of mess. Did you re-record the bassline? Or did you EQ my rubber strings into metal ones?

i love it like i love beer. a LOT.

    Uncle Benny // February 02, 2010

Nice Reggaeton beat. This is a prodigious remix tree. Perhaps one of us should do a DJ set with all of these.
